Even with Acosta gone, Epstein remains a living reminder of the depraved milieu from which the president sprang, and of the corruption and misogyny that continue to swirl around him.

Epstein's hedge fund was missing a key element of a typical thriving hedge fund: investors. If he wasn't really a multi-billion-dollar manager, there may have been something much more unsavory at the heart of his business model.
