Portside Annual Fund Appeal - Information is Power
Dear Portside reader,
Just once a year we appeal to you to contribute to make it possible to continue this work. Please help.
It's been an extraordinary year. A year of unparalleled dangers, which we won't dwell on, as you know them well. Also a year that people invented new ways to assert themselves -- from athletes kneeling to women speaking out to voters flipping seats up and down the ballot.
We view Portside as a part of this community of resistance and demand for change and for forging an alternative to the dystopia that unchecked capitalism offers. The resistance becomes stronger as we share experiences in today's struggles and articulate a vision of a radically better future.
We moderators of Portside work on an entirely volunteer basis. More precisely, we work with the same motivation that powers the grassroots of every movement for radical change -- because we find the inequality and injustices of the present intolerable and for the satisfaction of contributing to the struggle for a just society.
We value you -- our readers -- as people who are engaged in this search for the way forward with us, who think critically and independently and who act to change the world in a multitude of different ways.
Today we're asking you to take an action that will help us to keep the Portside project moving ahead. Please donate.
Yours in struggle,
The Portside, Portside Labor and Portside Culture crew -
