With his incitement of a direct assault on the people’s house, Trump has forfeited his claim to finish his term. The House must again impeach him, and the Senate must vote to remove him. It must bar him from ever again serving in public office.
Congress expelled 14 members for supporting sedition and insurrection previously who supported the Confederacy against the union in 1861. Today we also have seditious members of Congress who sought to overthrow the election of the president.
