Is this a prelude to asking for the names of all Black people on campus who could have experienced or witnessed racism in the workplace? Or all women, queers, or trans people? Probably not – that would be woke DEI and critical race theory stuff.

The law of war prohibits “acts or threats of violence the primary purpose of which is to spread terror among the civilian population.” It is difficult to read Trump’s egregious threats of destruction as anything but intending to spread terror.

Trump’s draconian immigration enforcement is harming all workers. The theory was simple: remove immigrant workers, and native-born U.S. citizens would fill those open positions. Well, the results are in, and the opposite is happening.

A coup attempt is not at all unthinkable; Trump has done it before, and he makes it very clear that he is thinking about it now. If we remember what history shows us is possible, we can prevent a coup from succeeding.
