Jeannette Ferrary
Jeannette Ferrary is the author of eight books including Out of the Kitchen: Adventures of a Food Writer, a memoir about the food world; M.F.K. Fisher and Me: A Memoir of Food and Friendship; and six cookbooks. She has written for The New York Times, Gourmet, Gastronomica, and many other publications and has worked in food-related advertising and promotion. She studied at L'Ecole des Trois Gourmandes in France with Julia Child and Simone Beck and currently teaches food writing at Stanford and U. C. Berkeley.
