Immigrants' Rights are Workers' Rights

Various plans to reform America's broken immigration system are working their way through Congressional debate. The primary reason people come to the United States from other nations is the potential for good work. It's not enough for immigrants to have legal status to stay here. They must have legal rights as employees to speak out against wage theft and abusive working conditions -- and to exercise their freedoms to associate and engage in collective bargaining.
