End the Blockade

Commission of the European Parliament,

referring to the slated October 29 vote in

the UN General Assembly on the resolution

on "the Necessity of Ending the  Economic,

Commercial and Financial Blockade

imposed the United States against Cuba," 

and caling on Catherine  Ashton,

European Union High Representative

for Foreign Affairs, to publicly endorse the

resolution on behalf of the EU.
