Workers at eBay subsidiary TCGplayer, an online trading card marketplace, picketed the company yesterday to protest alleged pregnancy discrimination against one of their own. More than a year after unionizing, they still don’t have a contract.

SAG-AFTRA says that its tentative agreement with the studios is worth more than $1 billion over three years and added that it has “extraordinary scope” and “unprecedented provisions.”

The railroads and their unions have been embroiled in a contract dispute since January 2020, with wages and health care benefits being major sticking points. Unless the White House acts, either party is free to exercise “self-help” options — including a strike that could occur as early as 12:01 a.m. next Monday.
