The magnitude of the current crisis compels us to cooperate and practice solidarity despite political differences. The virus knows no boundaries or ideologies. It threatens the lives of all and therefore it is up to all of us to fight back.

Quick and widespread testing and quarantine will help tackle the spread of COVID-19, not ultra-nationalism or hyper-capitalism.

This is not the time to pull up the (national) hatches and speak simply of the fight against the virus inside our own borders.
