The theory that Donald Trump is a Russian intelligence asset is mind-boggling, but plausible

Everything else that Trump has or hasn’t done about Russia, any sanctions, any tariffs, any expelled diplomats, absolutely pales in comparison to the huge boost in oil revenues he provided to the Russian economy by backing away from the Iran nuclear deal.

Some on the left are still waving away the inconvenient facts that don’t fit with their politics.

For the credibility of the left, we have to mark out our own turf in this upheaval. We have to independently offer our own priorities on what’s wrong with Trump.
