The radical Republican budget bill steals from the poor to give tax cuts to the rich
The GOP is steering the US in the opposite direction of proven paths to growth: well-educated workers and infrastructure investments. Low tax rates have never been the spur to growth. The spur to growth has been a well-trained and well-educated workforce, coupled with the infrastructure needed to support growth.
Nice "trickle-down economics" you've got there.

Jeff Merkley, the liberal Democrat from Oregon, asked his Republican “friends” to consider what could have been achieved by spending a trillion dollars on fixing America’s infrastructure, or making health care more affordable, or improving the education system. “This is the biggest bank heist, not just in American history but in the history of the world,” Merkley declared.
