Organizers of union campaigns at major corporations say increased drives have been met with threats and retaliation – and now the Senate wants answers.
A federal official has recommended that the results of the union election at Amazon’s Bessemer, Alabama warehouse be thrown out and a second election be held, due to the company’s illegal anti-union tactics.
The labor board’s current leaders have been described as anti-labor by worker advocates, and accused of working to gut the public’s ability to file unfair labor practice charges by a number of its own staffers.
