It is urgent to end the war in Ukraine. But to achieve this goal, "Russia Out Now" is a better slogan than "Diplomacy Now."
We never did get the permit until only a few days before the march and rally, when Koch finally understood what Sandy had been telling him for months: that hundreds of thousands of his constituents and additional hundreds of thousands of out-of-towners would be in attendance.
But if the war does not end soon, its dangers will increase. Negotiations need to begin... “To make concessions to Russia would be submitting to aggression,”... “To make none would be submitting to insanity.”

While the peace movement argues, trying to decide who’s right and who’s wrong, the American government is doubling down on militarism. The peace movement needs to unite in opposition to war; unfortunately it’s influence is diminished by infighting.
