January runoff races could flip the Senate and prevent the majority leader from obstructing another Democratic presidency. This is a richly deserved nightmare scenario for <itch McConnell who has given Americans so many nightmares for so many years.

Congressional Democrats must recognize that Americans want this change, and bargain hard for the $4 billion that will assure safe and fair elections.

A lot of progressive groups (and voters) have held off on making the Sanders-vs.-Warren choice. But they’ll face more and more pressure to decide how best to block Biden, and to defeat Trump.
