Council on American-Islamic Relations report peels back donations to ‘fringe’ groups

It is one of the most important aspects of our media system, and yet hardly known to the public: most of the international news coverage in Western media is provided by only three global news agencies based in New York, London and Paris.

A new report shows that three-quarters of the money that individuals donated to pro-Democrat outside spending groups in 2018 came from finance founders and executives.

The data shows that just 20 news sources account for more than half of article impressions.
