The senator is willing to break a few eggs, over easy, to get Democrats back on track to their working-class roots. He sees this moment as a chance to “address concerns progressives have had for decades.”

We need to rebuild our nation with a new foundation. A foundation rooted in love, and care, and equality. We need to seize this moment. It's on us, as Democrats and progressives, to meet the gravity of the moment. And history will judge our actions.

Senate Democrats have the power to end the filibuster and thereby allow the For the People Act to become law. It’s time for Democrats to unite on this, without hesitation.
